Just as the weather is starting to get chilly in this hemisphere, Field Notes delivers a welcome reminder of warmth and rebirth with the uplifting Signs of Spring Limited Edition Notebook Set.
Radiating a warm, optimistic feeling from its bright yellow cover, Signs of Spring doesn't just celebrate the changing of the seasons, but perhaps a sense of renewal and growth in a broader sense. That feeling of growth is embedded in the very covers of the notebooks, made with a Mohawk Via Vellum 80# “Yellow” stock and heavily debossed with designs based on the early bloomers of the North American spring – the Ghost Flower (Mohavea confertiflora) in the Southwest, Quaker Ladies (Houstonia caerulea) in the East, and Contra Costa Goldfields (Lasthenia conjugens) in the San Francisco Bay area.
Inside, the pages are made from a new stock for Field Notes (Strathmore’s Cambric 70# text), giving a linen-y texture that makes a great space in which to write or draw. And as always, Field Notes pay attention to the smallest details, so the dot grid layout is inked using Saphira Ink's soy-based "Yellow Crocus" ink.
